The New Drop In Centre is led by the community and aims to create opportunities for local people to take steps towards overcoming the effects of poverty and encourage personal growth, health & well being.

It is a safe, inclusive & friendly place to drop in to have a chat and cuppa. It's an open access building run by volunteers from the community for the community. It was re-opened 4 years ago to offer the community a clothing shop with affordable goods. Apart from the shop, there are other projects and services offered.

We work in Partnership with other local community projects and facilities such as: J.R. Ground Force, St. Teilo's Church, Blaenymaes, Portmead, Penplas Development Trust, The Action Resource Centre, Spark Blaenymaes Ltd, West Glamorgan Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Swansea Drug Project, 104 Community House and many more.

The New Drop-In Centre are also the proud winners of '2008 Sustainable Swansea SCVS Community Project Award'. Winning this award was only made possible by the hard work and sheer determination of all the volunteers who have put in so much time and effort into improve their community.
